The Bayonne Bridge is the Port Authority’s first cashless tolling facility. Cashless tolling, which allows customers a seamless travel experience, began on February 20, 2017. Customers can use E-ZPass or they will have an image taken of their license plate and receive a toll bill in the mail via the Tolls by Mail Program.

Length of New Jersey viaduct: 3,010 feet

Length of Staten Island viaduct: 2,010 feet

Total length of the main span of bridge: 5,780 feet

Width: 85 feet

Number of traffic lanes: 2

Channel clearance at midspan: 215 feet

Width of roadway: 40 feet

Height of arch above water at crown: 325 feet
