With the completion of the Raise the Roadway program, the Bayonne Bridge now includes a 12-foot mixed-use path with ramp access on both sides of the Kill Van Kull.  The path is normally open between 6 a.m. and 11:59 p.m., seven days a week. It can be accessed at John F. Kennedy Blvd. between West 6th and West 7th Streets in Bayonne, NJ; and on Trantor Place south of Innis Street on Staten Island, NY.

Bicyclists are asked to exercise caution and ride slowly. Pedestrians have the right-of-way at all times.

Regular users of the path are encouraged to sign up for Bridge & Tunnel Alerts at http://www.panynj.gov/alerts. Select the "Bicyclists/Pedestrian" Customer Type to receive sidewalk closure alerts via text or email.
