The Port Authority announces the next phase of the comprehensive planning and environmental review for the replacement of the midtown bus terminal. The Port Authority is releasing a planning-level scoping document for public review and comment as part of the environmental review process. With the release of this planning-level scoping document, the Port Authority launches a robust 120-day public outreach process, beginning May 23, 2019, to solicit formal comment from elected officials in New York and New Jersey, the City of New York, neighborhood residents, commuters, other stakeholders, and the public on plans for a new Port Authority Bus Terminal.

The first two public meetings, one in each state, were held on July 10. To see the presentation from the meeting, click here. Two additional meetings, one in each state, will take place on September 5, 2019, in New York, NY and Springfield, New Jersey. For more information, click here.
