PATH Community Connection

The PATH Community Connection program offers several avenues to engage with the public.

PATH Education Series  (PES) is a new initiative to increase educational outreach by offering year-round sessions for riders to learn about key functions and projects.

PATH Riders' Council is a one-year pilot program that enables a standing advisory group to meet year-round to ensure riders have a voice in system design, customer service communications and operations decision-making. The PRC members will meet every other month, on the third Wednesday of the month (a total of six meetings for the one-year pilot). The 2014 PRC application period is currently closed. The application period will re-open in June 2015.

PATHursday was established in 1987 to foster direct communication with the public.

The Port Authority considers PATH a part of the communities it serves. PATH strives to be a good neighbor to our friends – PATH riders, local residents, and elected officials – in the Ironbound in Newark, along Jersey City’s waterfront, down Hoboken’s cobbled streets, and everywhere in between.
