Attention PNCT Customers

Effective immediately, all M/T’S that were received at Export Street, will now be received at the Main Gate.

PNCT customers please be advised that effective May 11, 2010, all chassis returns will only be accepted at the Polaris Street Depot. This includes equipment for the Metro Pool, MSC, Maersk and APL Lines. Chassis' for NYK and OOCL will only be accepted at the Ironbound Terminal.

The Polaris Street Depot Hours of Operation are 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM.

New Traffic Pattern to Port Newark Container Terminal

To improve traffic flow in the port, traffic patterns to Port Newark Container Terminal have been changed.

Please advise your drivers inbound access to PNCT’s main gate is now via Maracaibo Street. To enter the terminal, trucks are to use Tyler Street, turn right at Maracaibo Street, and then another right turn onto Calcutta Street.

When exiting the terminal, trucks are to use Export Street as Maracaibo Street north of Calcutta is a one-way street.

New road signs have been posted throughout the port to assist your drivers.

New York Container Terminal has new gate hours.

Monday - Friday:

Gate hours: 6:00am - 4:00pm
Double moves: until 3:30pm
Single moves: until 4:00pm
Reefer receiving or delivery: until 3:30pm
Yard closed: 5:00pm

Kindly note that, Monday through Friday, Out of Gauge cargo will be received/delivered until 3:00pm, Haz Mat cargo w ill be received/delivered until 3:30pm, while all AQI related activity must be routed in by 2:30pm.
