The New York-bound lanes of the Bayonne Bridge will be closed from 9 p.m. tonight, May 21, through to 5 a.m. Tuesday, May 22, to accommodate emergency construction work on the crossing, including a drainage grate in the southbound roadway that needs immediate repairs and an E-ZPass system antenna that needs repair or replacement.

During the closing, travelers heading into New York can use the Goethals Bridge or the Outerbridge Crossing as an alternate. The bridge’s lanes into New Jersey will not be impacted.
