MEDIA ADVISORY - PORT AUTHORITY TO HOST CAREER FAIR AT GEORGE WASHINGTON BRIDGE BUS STATION TO BENEFIT WASHINGTON HEIGHTS COMMUNITY

Fair will include representatives from the GAP, Marshalls, Blink Fitness, Fine Fare, Citibank, Vista Eye Care and PNC Bank

The Port Authority will host a career fair on Wednesday, May 23, at the George Washington Bridge Bus Station to give residents living in the Washington Heights section of Manhattan the opportunity to seek jobs at businesses located in the bus facility.

The fair will run from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will be held on the ground floor of the bus station’s Fort Washington Avenue entrance. Participants in the fair are the GAP, Marshalls, Blink Fitness, Fine Fare, Citibank, Vista Eye Care and PNC Bank.

The fair will be facilitated in collaboration with Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer, Congressman Adriano Espaillat, New York City Councilman Ydanis Rodriguez, New York State Senator Marisol Alcantara, New York State Assemblywoman Carmen De La Rosa, New York State Assemblyman Al Taylor and Manhattan Community Board 12.
