WEEKNIGHT CLOSINGS OF BAYONNE BRIDGE TO RESUME ON JUNE 11 TO ACCOMMODATE ONGOING CONSTRUCTION

The Port Authority will resume weeknight closings of the Bayonne Bridge beginning on Monday, June 11, to accommodate ongoing construction work on the crossing.

The bridge will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday nights through Thursday nights. The overnight closures will be scheduled consistently Monday through Thursday nights through the end of this summer. Additional overnight closures will be scheduled through the rest of the year as needed. Updates will be provided via the Port Authority’s website and other communication channels later this summer.

During the closings, travelers can use the Goethals Bridge or the Outerbridge Crossing as an alternate.
