The Goethals Bridge will institute lane closures in both directions from 10 p.m. tonight, August 15, through 5 a.m. Thursday, August 16, to accommodate work on two cantilever lane control signal structures.

Two lanes will be closed, both westbound and eastbound, during portions of the work period. Travelers should anticipate 10-15 minute delays. During the lane closures, travelers can use the Bayonne Bridge or Outerbridge Crossing as alternative routes.
