MEDIA ADVISORY - JOB FAIR TO BE HELD THURSDAY, OCTOBER 4, AT DONALD M. PAYNE SCHOOL OF TECHNOLOGY IN NEWARK, NEW JERSEY

A transportation, logistics and distribution job fair, sponsored by the Port of New York and New Jersey’s Council on Port Performance, will be held on Thursday, October 4. The fair will provide job seekers living in and around the New York and New Jersey region with the opportunity to connect with industry representatives and business partners who serve the port’s facilities.

The fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Donald M. Payne School of Technology at 498-544 West Market Street Newark, NJ 07107. Among the approximately 30 transportation, logistics and distribution employers participating will be the New York Shipping Association, APM Terminals, Port Newark Container Terminal, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and NJ Transit seeking qualified candidates for a broad range of jobs from the trades through corporate.

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey will have a recruiting table with representatives available to discuss the broad range of job options available within the agency.
